Move In Day is officially tomorrow. Yikes! It's gonna be hectic! But I'm really excited for students to come back to campus and bring their awesome energy!
I start classes next week, which is both exciting and scary. I'm really nervous about classes. I think I'm nervous mostly because I'm expecting a lot from myself. I did pretty well in classes for undergrad, so I'm hoping to do better in grad school. Also, secretly, I'm hoping to get a 4.0. I've never gotten a 4.0 before (EVER.) So it's on my bucket list to do it. Boom. Gotta happen.
On top of that, I'm gonna get real serious right now. I just got a call from my doctor that my ANA blood test came back positive. Which means that I probably have an autoimmune disease. No fun. So I need to get another test tomorrow and find out what it is. Ugh. My life.
So we'll see what happens.
Until next time!
I'm a white woman and I have a lot of things in my mind. And I'm privileged, so I want to point that out. Enjoy the ramblings of my messed up mind.

A Month! Interviews, LDI, and more!
So a few days ago marked my month anniversary with CSU-Pueblo. Ooooh boy, it's been quite the month!
I've been so lucky in this job. I get to do so many things that will really help me in my future. Not only do I get to work with some really outstanding Greek students, I get to work in a fantastic office! The student workers in the SEAL office are so great. They all have a sense of humor and are super nice. One of them even got me a Star Wars poster from Comic Con!
This month was really rough for me because I only had .46 cents in my bank account. Yikes! Luckily, I finally got paid for my internship plus my CSU-Pueblo job. Yay! Makin' it rain! But my mom helped me out a lot, so that was really nice of her.
I was able to gain some really great experience because I was able to interview some professional for Area Coordinator positions. It was cool to see what a potential future interview for me could look like. It was also great to get experience as a professional interviewer.
Also, I was able to go to Alpha Sigma Alpha's Leadership Develop Institute in Kansas City, Missouri! Oh my gosh. BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I have been to many conferences, but this one topped them all. I grew so much in those four days. I was a Small Group Facilitator and I was paired up with an amazing co-facilitator. We really balanced each other out and she was soooo knowledgeable. It was great to see so many women gain confidence in themselves as women and leaders. To be honest, I cried a few days during LDI. My love for my sorority grew exponentially!
